Marc Latzel works on assignment for various national and international publications, magazines and advertising agencies. Alongside his commercial photography, he works on several long term personal projects.
The World Press Association nominated him for the «1997 Joop Swart Masterclass» award. He won the «vfg–Selection» nomination and exhibition in 2005, and the «Public Award» in 2007. In 2010, he was selected for the «Prix Photo Forum Pasqu’Art» and in 2011 he received the «Landis & Gyr Studio Grant» for London. In 2015, he won the «European Architecture Photography Award» in Frankfurt. He is a member of 13 Photo Agency in Zurich.
Currently he is lecturing and running workshops at the Centre d’Enseignement Professionnel in Vevey (CEPV), at the ETH Zurich at the Swiss School of Journalism (MAZ) in Lucerne, and at the F+F Art School in Zurich.
